Executive Pastry Chef

Our partner, a prestigious resort hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, is looking for an Executive Pastry Chef.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the pastry and bakery kitchen and its production of the hotel and its restaurants, banquet and events.
  • Deliver culinary excellence throughout all menu and operations with focus on seasonality and product quality meet guest expectations.
  • Familiar with latest market trends in his field and able to elevate the menu offerings
  • Supervise and coordinate all pastry and bakery production, presentation and decoration
  • Plan production and labor required aligned with business levels
  • Control Food Cost to be in line with budget by forecasting production and seasonal approach
  • Develop and execute hotels amenity program
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in a similar role and operation for a minimum of 5 years
  • Familiar with latest market trends and product innovations
  • Strong supervisory skills and able to work with diverse work force
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
