Area Director of Sales & Marketing
Our partner, a luxury hotel group in Egypt, is looking for an Area Director of Sales & Marketing to oversee all properties.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the sales and marketing departments in all properties of the company and provide guidance and feedback to other professionals
- Directs sales forecasting activities in all properties and sets performance goals accordingly
- Develops effective sales incentive programs which support company’s goals for growth
- Experience driving business results and entering into new markets for all company’s properties
- Uses sales predictive tools to forecast growth for all the properties in the company
- Provides input and leadership in the development and implementation of sales incentive compensation programs
- Direct all member retention strategies and all new group sales strategies
- Prepares presentations to management groups, leadership groups and the boards to explain the company’s market position and initiatives
- Direct market analysis of local competition to ensure competitive advantage for all the company's properties
- Develop and implement annual business plans for all properties of the company and manage to monthly, quarterly and annual expense and revenue budgets
- Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus; creates a companywide marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance
- Collaborate with strategic partners and clients to research market needs and identify possible new product solutions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing or similar senior leadership role in a comparable hotel or hospitality business
- Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams and ability to do so with speed
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills
- Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals
- Diverse negotiation and sales techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
